Have you ever been in an emergency health situation and wanted to help but not know how? First aid is an important tool in quickly responding to accidents to ensure that injuries can be efficiently and promptly dealt with before a trained medical professional arrives to administer more specialised treatment. Join us and you will learn how to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill.

As part of the Landscape Partnership scheme we can offer a free emergency first aid training course after which you will be a qualified first aider and understand how to make a big difference to someone health in an emergency. This will be interactive session with theory and practical activities will be delivered by Eureka Training will be held in person at a location within Colne Valley Regional Park. Location yet to be confirmed.

The Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is valid for three years. No prior first aid knowledge is required for this course. Covid controls in place.

* This free workshop is only available for registered volunteers with Groundwork South and Colne Valley Regional Park.
