Ambush Corporate Volunteering Day in Northmoor Hill Woods

Ambush Security experienced a corporate volunteering day with us at Northmoor Hill Woods in July. It was a very productive day – they worked hard, achieved a fantastic amount, enjoyed the fresh air, exercise and the chance to relax and talk as a team.

Green Infrastructure Strategy

We have produced a Green Infrastructure Strategy that covers both the Colne and Crane Valleys.  This strategy articulates the importance of the Colne and Crane landscapes, setting a vision and an approach to unite around. It has been prepared to address the significant and numerous challenges of the 21st century in this area and is a call for action that highlights a wide range of “greening” opportunities as well as river enhancement projects.

Drip Drop, Drip Drop…..

Drip drop… drip drop… there goes water from your tap! Do you ever wonder where your water comes from and how it affects your local environment? Last week we were all talking about this at Drip Drop Summer School in four fun filled days with over 30 children at Iver Environment Centre. Together we dived deep into the topic of water awareness and conservation helping raise awareness on how your dripping tap is affecting your local river!
