The 41-hectare Local Nature Reserve is situated at the northern end of the Colne Valley Regional Park in the heart of Rickmansworth.  It is a beautiful setting with two lakes and is home to a large variety of birds including herons, moorhens and ducks.  The Rickmansworth Aquadrome has open grassland, areas of woodland with trees such as oaks and willows, accessible pathways as well as an exciting play area and welcoming café serving freshly prepared meals and hot drinks. Local residents and visitors travel from far and wide to enjoy this great open space which is a lovely place to visit all year round.

It is a popular area with several attractive walks around the lakes or along the River Colne and Grand Union Canal. Why not try one of our walks when visiting Rickmansworth Aquadrome?
