The Colne Valley Regional Park
On Saturday, December 7th Friends of Stockers Lake and the Jain Community gathered at Stockers Lake to plant a single English Oak as a symbol to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi.
Like everyone opposed to the scheme, we had hoped an independent review might spell the end to this controversial and eye-wateringly expensive project…
The visitor centre is located in Denham Country Park near Uxbridge and is the central information point for the whole of the Colne Valley Regional Park…..

Here at the Colne Valley Regional Park we have lots of lovely rural pubs and cafes for everybody to enjoy. They have some great offers and events to inspire you to come out and visit them and maybe have a country walk in the Colne Valley too..

It is sad to think that the once prevalent water vole could disappear from our water courses altogether in the future, if current rates of decline in numbers continue.
