Join us at Little Britain Lake for a fun day litter picking and tackling invasive species removal to help protect this beautiful site for both people and wildlife. The Colne Valley Team is working in partnership with Hillingdon Council, and we need your help—the more volunteers we have, the bigger the impact we can make!

✅ Why join? Make a real difference for local wildlife, enjoy the outdoors, and meet like-minded people!
One of the Colne Valley Parks gems, a scenic lake bordered by the Rivers Colne and Frays—perfect for walking, fishing, and picnicking. Its name first appeared on a map in 1819, possibly inspired by the Britannic shape of the surrounding land. The lake itself was created after gravel extraction in the early 1930s.
