Learn about the canals and life on and around the canals from Rickmansworth Waterway Trust’s Fabian.

The Grand Union Canal is our local canal constructed in the late 1800’s to connect Birmingham with London, passing straight through the middle of the Colne Valley Regional Park. This water course plays an important role for the area providing a home, transportation route as well as a place for recreation however its uses have changed over the years shaping the Colne Valley and its people, join us to learn how.
