The Colne Valley Regional Park
Ambush Security experienced a corporate volunteering day with us at Northmoor Hill Woods in July. It was a very productive day – they worked hard, achieved a fantastic amount, enjoyed the fresh air, exercise and the chance to relax and talk as a team.

The state of our rivers is of great concern. Tony Booker, Chairman of Colne Valley Fisheries Consultative, campaigns tirelessly against pollution, learn more about his fight to protect local rivers and raise awareness of this issue.
The Colne Valley Regional Park hosted a free online webinar on “improving the green belt and its planning” on 6th July 2021.
Roll up! Roll Up! For the Colne Valley Fabulous Festival Fortnight
We’d like to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to the Colne Valley Volunteers as well as all the other amazing volunteer groups helping to look after our beautiful regional park!
The Colne Valley Team are working hard to reduce Invasive Species which are growing abundantly in the Colne Valley Park, damaging our native eco system. This takes determination as these species are very effective at spreading. Invasive Species week which runs from 24th -31st May 2021 has inspired the team to redouble their efforts.
The River Ash in Ashford has been re-naturalised for the benefit of wildlife and people, learn more here about how these improvements are bedding in.
