Join the team at Chiltern Open Air Museum for some Miserable Monday (was Terrific Tuesday) family activity day themed around the more horrible side of history.
Gather thy kin and brace thyselves to uncover the terrible times and horrendous histories of olde!
Follow their Terrible Jobs trail, discover the stinky secrets of a Victorian wash day, take a tour of toilets through time, and make ghoulish clay models, monster finger puppets & creepy crawly crafts.
In addition to their special Miserable Monday activities you can explore their 45-acre museum, visit their heritage farm and play in their adventure playground.
All of the Miserable Monday activities are included in the admission price. Please bring a carrier bag with you so that you can take home all your wonderful creations.
* Unfortunately, there is no power to the site all day on Tuesday 28th October, so they will now have to close the site on this day and will not be able to run our advertised Terrific Tuesday so will be running a Miserable Monday on the 27 October instead.*
