The Colne Valley Regional Park is home to stunning landscapes, vibrant wildlife, and great walking routes but sadly, some of these areas are being spoiled by growing litter problems and neglect. This not only harms nature but also makes the countryside less enjoyable for everyone.

That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of our Litter Blitz Project, made possible through funding from Heathrow Community Trust. Over the next 10 months, our team will be leading a series of litter pick sessions across the park to tackle some of the worst affected spots.

This initiative builds on the success of our recent partnership litter picks along the Grand Union Canal near Denham Country Park and the Slough Arm, where volunteers made a real and visible difference.

We are looking to grow our impact by teaming up with local organisations and community groups. Together, we can clean up more spaces, protect our natural environment, and make the park more welcoming for everyone. Want to get involved? Join our mailing list by emailing us at [email protected]

Already part of a group that litter picks? We’d love to partner with you! Joining forces means a bigger, lasting impact!

The Litter Blitz Project is part of our Landscape Recovery Team’s wider mission: to improve green spaces, enhance access to the countryside, and help residents reconnect with nature. Clean, accessible outdoor spaces are proven to boost both mental and physical well-being and your support can help make that a reality.
