We are a small organisation that is making great strides and punching well above its weight. But we cannot sustain this alone. We need YOUR help. Please:
- Follow the Colne Valley Regional Park and spread the word on social media: you will find us on facebook, X, Instagram, Bluesky and LinkedIn.
- Join the Friends of the Colne Valley Regional Park
- Tell your MP and local councillors how important the green space on your doorstep is, and that you would like to see it restored so that you can use it more. Politicians need to know that there are votes in environmental issues.
- Donate here – don’t forget to tick the gift aid box which adds 20% to your donation at no cost to you.
- Consider leaving a legacy to the Colne Valley Regional Park in your will.
- Volunteer! Join our volunteer team of community litter-pickers, river rangers etc.
- Get out there and explore the countryside on your doorstep. Politicians and decision-makers need to see that green spaces are well loved. Use them or lose them!
Explore public footpaths. If you don’t use them, they can slowly be lost to neglect. If you spot a problem, report it to your local authority. - Encourage your employer to join as a corporate supporter to help enhance the green spaces around their offices and the countryside where their employees and customers work, rest or play.
