The Colne Valley Regional Park(CVRP) team and the Canal and River Trust are teaming up again for a litter picking and general tidy up session, and this time we will be focusing on cleaning up the Slough Arm.
We’re pleased to let you know that we’ll be running another litter pick in December, this time in partnership with Canal & River Trust and Friends of the Slough Arm.

Meeting Point:
On the Grand Union Canal Slough Arm, by the footbridge that connects the Slough Arm and Packet Boat Waterside & Marina.

Tasks on the day:
The main focus will be litter picking, but there will also be some vegetation clearance to help reach litter covered by vegetation.

What to wear and bring:
✅ Sturdy boots, as the ground might be slippery
✅ Clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty
✅ A waterproof coat, just in case it rains
✅ Lunch – If you plan to join us for the whole session, please bring your own lunch and drink
✅ Gloves and litter pickers will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have them
