Groundwork South, who are the managing agent of the Colne Valley Regional Park, are closely monitoring the current coronavirus situation and we would like to reassure our visitors and volunteers that your health and wellbeing is our absolute priority.
This will mean that many of our events have been/will be cancelled or postponed. We will be able to deliver some of our events online and we urge you to follow us on social media for updates.
Update 27th of May
Based on the newest government advice, we are allowed to enjoy our countryside and nature, but we must STAY ALERT and continue maintaining social distancing. Now is the perfect time to appreciate all the little things nature gives us from your doorstep. During this time Colne Valley Regional Park will aim to help you get inspired by the beauty of nature and help you explore your countryside on your doorstep. Below you will find information about The Colne Valley Regional Park, information from our partners, and we will bring you ideas of how you can explore Colne Valley safely. For any further questions don’t hesitate to contact us via email.
We urge everyone to be responsible and always check before travelling. We advise you to avoid places if they look busy and if it’s difficult to maintain social distancing!
