Do you enjoy Northmoor Hill Woods?  Help us to maintain the site by joining the Northmoor Hill Conservation Volunteers

Work being undertaken:

  • Repairs to steps
  • Cutting back of vegetation along footpaths
  • Litter picking

Meeting point: Northmoor Woods Hill Car Park

Join us to burn some extra calories before the festive period. The volunteer sessions are open to all no experience needed and all equipment will be provided

Northmoor Hill Wood is an area of semi natural ancient woodland located on the edge of Denham. The woods have been managed on a 99 year lease by the Colne Valley Park CIC for the last 5 years. The Colne Valley Park CIC are managing the woods for the benefit of both wildlife and the local community. A number of interesting natural features are contained in the woods including a swallow hole and ancient coppiced ash stools. Northmoor Hill Woods Is very popular with dog walkers and families.

Groundwork South/Colne Valley Park CIC are looking for help with practical habitat improvement works at the site. All equipment needed will be provided as well as practical training.
