Date: 12th December 1.00-4.00pm
Location – Arthur Jacobs Nature Reserve, Poyle off Stanwell Road, Poyle SL3 0BN. Meeting point at lay by in front of main entrance. The nearest side road to park is Coppermill Road which connects to Stanwell Road. If you park there, when you walk up to Stanwell Road, turn right and the entrance is about 60m on the opposite side.
Tasks – Cutting back sapling around the Lagoon area to open views and maintain a variety of scrub on site.
Booking a place and requirements: As part of Covid 19 safety measures, each volunteer session will have a max of five volunteers and one Groundwork staff. Please email in advance to check availability and book a place. Wear clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor work, and if you have them, please bring your own gloves. If you also have your own hand tools such as a bow saw or a pair of loppers, you are welcome to bring them. For safety, we will ensure volunteers use the same tools throughout the session.
