We are looking for people who enjoy art and would be interesting in attending one of two workshops about the landscape change in the Colne Valley Regional Park.

You can be part of The Colne Valley Heritage Lottery project. This scheme aims to deliver projects encompassing waterways, habitats, conservation and communities within the Colne Valley to create a legacy that can be enjoyed for years to come.

One of these projects ‘Walks Through a Changing Landscape’ presents a unique opportunity to apply for a place on one of two art workshops.

The workshop day will include; visits to sites within the Colne Valley Park and with advice and guidance from our art expert you will start your creation which you can submit at a later date once complete.

Your artwork will be considered for inclusion into the walks pamphlet publication which makes up part of the ‘Walks Through a Changing Landscape.’

The art work will also be included in an exhibition providing an opportunity for the public to enjoy the artistic interpretations of the Colne Valley landscape.

Other workshop dates:

Thursday 15th September
