Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, this fascinating project captured the ever changing landscape of the Colne Valley Regional Park.

It gave us a much better understanding of how and why these changes happen, as well as giving us a chance to explore the Park’s wonderful heritage from an intriguing perspective. In the 1980s, a photographic survey was taken and a book produced with 444 images of 111 grid reference points in the Colne Valley Park. In 2014/15 The Friends of the Colne Valley Park embarked on the daunting task of re-taking all of these pictures at exactly the same points (where they could find them!)
