The Colne Valley Snapshot Competition aims to encourage visitors and local people to enjoy and explore the Colne Valley Park and take snapshots of the landscape, people and wildlife that inspires them.
Taking a walk through the Colne Valley will provide many opportunities to photograph the wildlife, woodland and farms, lakes, waterways, villages and towns, in this 43 square mile park. The wide diversity of the park's landscape, stretching from the London Borough of Hillingdon through Buckinghamshire to Slough in the west, Spelthorne in the south and Rickmansworth in the north, should give you inspiration for some great photographs! Maps of walks of varying lengths which provide some great scenery around the Colne Valley Park are also available from the Visitor Centre in Denham Country Park, call 01895 833 375 for details.
Send us your snapshot no larger than 7" x 5" by 1st October 2008. All entries must be accompanied by a signed entry form.
