This exciting Heritage Lottery funded project takes a look at the Colne Valley Regional Park in the past and in the present. The landscape in the park is changing and we’re keen to learn how and why, and also to explore the wonderful heritage we have around us. In the 1980s, a photographic survey was taken and a book was produced with 444 photos of 111 grid reference points in the Colne Valley Park. The Friends of the Colne Valley Park are now embarking on the great task of re-taking all these photos at exactly the same points (if we can find them!) in 2014/15.
There are plenty of ways you can get involved.
You can help to build this archive of landscape photos by uploading your own views.
