Rickmansworth Lakes can be found in the north of the Colne Valley. The lakes are owned by Three Valleys Water, and the area is being enriched by the planting of native shrubs and trees such as willow, alder, oak, and ash. A new footbridge and improved path access to the riverside are now in place. A lakeside circular walk takes you arpund the spectacular scenery of Springwell, Inns and Stockers Lakes, and along the towpath of the Grand Union Canal.
