Friends of the Colne Valley Park

Join the Friends of the Colne Valley Park to help make the Colne Valley a greener and more enjoyable place in which to live, work and play.

Based at the Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre in Denham Country Park, the Friends are involved in walks, talks, childrens events, bazaars and the Colne Valley Festival - all intended to increase awareness and encourage enjoyment of the Colne Valley Park.

Benefits of membership include:

10% discount on most items in the Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre shop and café

Enjoy local food, farmers’ produce and a variety of snacks and refreshments.  All Friends of the Colne Valley Park can take advantage of their discount during each visit.

Friends will be sent the quarterly walks and events guide (otherwise available in local libraries and the Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre) and can take advantage of a free tea or coffee on most walks.  Recent walks have included a cream tea at St Peter’s Church.

The chance to make a difference and become more involved in YOUR local area

Get involved in volunteering events with Groundwork Thames Valley, help the Friends arrange their annual Colne Valley Festival and find out about major issues affecting your local countryside.
