Centrally located within the Colne Valley Park, Denham Country Park has many visitor facilities including car parking, picnic areas and toilets. The Park can be explored on foot and is home to a variety of wildlife. Along the river and canal banks herons are regularly seen and you may be lucky enough to see a kingfisher. In the summer the woodlands are alive with many species of warblers and other birds. On warm days many damselflies and dragonflies fly over the meadows and wetland areas. The Rivers Colne, and Misbourne and Frays along with the Grand Union Canal flow through and around the country park. The Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre is situated within the Country park, providing information on Colne Valley events and activities. Refreshments are also available.
