Black Park Country Park has many visitor facilities which include a large public car park, provisions for special needs, picnic areas, refreshments, toilets and the Centenary Lodge Visitor Centre. The Lodge houses a variety of permanent displays, leaflets, information and exhibitions and provides a base for a team of countryside staff who are always available to help you enjoy your visit.
The Country Park is an ideal setting for many quiet recreational activities, some of which may take you on a crisscrossing network of tracks and paths. Black Park lake, ringed by mature Scots pine trees, offers pleasant waterside walks and various water activities. Horse riding, carriage driving, and orienteering can also be enjoyed.
